The list of the top 10 best-selling cars in India in October 2022 consists of models from Maruti, Hyundai & Tata.

1. Maruti Suzuki Alto – 21,260 Units

Alto is the most selling car in India from long time. Indian people love this car and this Maruti Suzuki model is every time satisfy Indian car customers need. First time car buyer is main customer of this model. Maruti Suzuki Alto topped the sales chart last month also. In October, Maruti Suzuki sold 21,260 units of the Alto and it is India’s No. 1 selling car for October. It is the only car to sell more than 20,000 units last month.

2. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R – 17,945 Units

Wagon R hatchback is able to secure a second number is top 5 selling car in October. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R register 45% growth with 17,945 units for same month in 2021. This is big achievement for Maruti Suzuki Wagon R.

3. Maruti Suzuki Swift – 17,231 Units

Third spot was secured by the Maruti Suzuki Swift in the sales charts in the month of October 2022 with a sale of 17,231 units. Maruti Suzuki Swift marked a massive rise of 88 per cent compared to October last year when it sold only 9,180 units.

4. Maruti Suzuki Baleno – 17,149 Units

The new generation Baleno, launched earlier this year and the car continues to be among the top five cars bought in India. Maruti Suzuki manage to sale 17,149 units of Baleno in October, around 10.12% higher than same month last year 15,573 units.

5. Tata Motors Nexon – 13,767 Units

Tata Motors breaks Maruti Suzuki’s chance to achieve top five positions with its best-seller Nexon SUV. Nexon is the top selling car from Tata Motors. Tata Motors manage to sold 13,767 units of the sub-compact SUV. As compared with same month last year Tata Motors Nexon register a growth of 35% in sale.

6. Maruti Suzuki Dzire – 13,321 Units

The Dzire sub-compact sedan remains an evergreen entry in the list of top 10 cars. The is known in market that compact sedan section is not doing well since compact SUV’s launched. But still Dzire is doing well. In October, Maruti Suzuki sold 12,321 units of the Dzire.

7. Hyundai Creta – 11,880 Units

Hyundai’s sales continues to be driven by its SUVs mostly As their hatchback cars not doing well. Creta manage to sold 11,880 units last month.

8. Tata Punch – 10,982 Units

Tata sold 10,982 units of the Punch SUV 30 per cent growth in sales compared to October last year. If Tata launch Punch with CNG it can be game changer and will definitely increase sale of car.

9. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – 10,494 Units

The only three-row MPV in the list of top 10 cars sold last month is also from Maruti Suzuki. The new generation Ertiga, which also comes with a CNG version, 10,494 homes bought it last month. However, the waiting period for some of its variants, including the CNG version is still high. This three-row MPV is most selling MPV and most loved by Indian people.

10. Maruti Suzuki Brezza – 9,941 Units

Maruti Suzuki delivered 9,941 units of the Brezza last month compared to 15,445 units in September. However, Brezza has seen little growth in sales when compared to same month last year when Maruti had sold 8,032 units that time. But still Brezza successfully secure its 10th position.
