1. Turn your heater on.
Start your engine, and using the defroster setting, turn on car heater to absorb excess moisture within your vehicle. It results in warm air blowing inside the cabin and hitting the windshield, It raises the temperature of windshield. This can be done by using the car’s heater and defogging vents on the bottom of the windshield It is a perfect method to remove the outside glass condensation under humid climate conditions, especially during monsoons and winter. Remember: Hot air can hold more moisture.
2. Press the A/C button.
This may sound counterintuitive to the whole heater thing, but lot of people do this and get faster result. This will activate a setting on your car’s A/C system that helps dry the air within the cab faster with the help of the coils in your A/C system. This may also work for you.
3. Turn air recirculation off.
You need fresh air to enter the car as well. Winter air is cold, and as it does not hold much moisture, it is dry. Today, most cars come retrofitted with an air recirculation system. Also known as the “Fresh Air Mode” button located on your dashboard, This system is one of the easiest and fastest ways to defog your windshield in cold temperatures. The button has a car with an arrow that points into the car direction. Once turned on, this feature pulls in fresh air from outside of car but does not lower the temperature inside the car. Rather, the temperature is gradually balanced and the fog across your windshield will disappear in few seconds. You will have to make sure that the “Recirculation Mode” is turned off.
4. Open a window for a little bit
The one step is to open the side windows just a crack. This helps exchange the humid air in your car with dryer outside air, speeding up the process. In case the outside humidity is lower than the cabin of the car, it means the passengers inside are releasing excess water and moisture. This increases the water content inside the cabin and this is normal, but by opening car windows for a little while you can reduce it. Doing this process will allow the outside air to circulate freely inside the car, and quickly reduce the dew point inside the car cabin and allow the fogginess on the windshield to dissipate.

5. The Defrost Vents
Now a days, first segment car also getting this feature and its useful. Anyone who knows about cars should know about the “defogger” feature is also called as defrost vents, which is a button with a box and three squiggly arrows pointing upwards. This button is extremely useful for defrost or defogging. The defogger button sends air straight to the windshield. This air matches the temperature of the surroundings and reduces the fogging. Some cars come with defogger buttons for the front and rear windshields too, so that their vision is not limited. You can say this is the defog button in car.
