Ola Electric India is making new ways as it move up and launched its first electric scooter in India – named the Series S1. Ola Electric received booking for its electric scooter even before launch. Also Ola Electric decided to deliver its scooter direct to buyer at their door. This news is so much excited and moving one step forwarded and will steps toward future. Due to corona virus pandemic buyers avoiding visit to showroom. Understanding this problem and providing solution on that Ola decided to deliver scooter direct to buyers home.

In vehicle market price is always key feature or most important key to attract Indian consumers. vehicle manufacturing company tried to make price affordable with keeping product quality good. Now in India Electric scooter available from 45,000 to 180,000. Ola Electric decided to keep price range in middle of this and tried to offer good product with maximum features.
Ola Electric has launched its S1 series at a starting price of Rs 99,999. The Ola S1 will introduced in two variants – The Ola S1 comes with Rs 99,999 and the Ola S1 Pro at Rs 1,29,999. However, the prices of the variants are subject to change with respect to state subsidies. Buyers can get FAME subsidy. After getting FAME subsidy buyer will get it like this, In Delhi S1 – 85,099 S1 Pro 1,10,149, In Gujrat S1 – 79,999 S1 Pro – 1,09,999, In Maharashtra S1 94, 999 S1 Pro – 1,24,999, In Rajasthan S1 – 89,968 S1 Pro – 1,19,138 All other states S1 – 99,999 S1 Pro – 1,29,999
Ola Electric scooter range / mileage : 181 kilometers
In all electric vehicle this is most important thing, One is charging time and another is range after single charging. Ola Electric scooter is able to give you range of near up to 181 Kilometers on single charge. 181 kilometer is good range consider in electric vehicle market. Also Ola Electric is planning to build ‘Hypercharger’ station in 400 cities in India. Using this charger Ola electric scooter will charge 50% in only 15 minutes and will able to give you range of up to 75 kilometers.
Ola Electric battery capacity and charging details
The Ola Electric scooter has the same banana-shaped batteries as mentioned only here, they are fixed, and not removable. The Ola S1 gets a 2.98 kWh lithium-ion battery, where as the Ola S1 Pro has a 3.97 kWh lithium-ion battery – the biggest battery yet seen on a production electric two-wheeler in India. This large battery makes the Ola S1 Pro eligible for the highest FAME-II subsidy among all e-two-wheelers on sale today.
Ola Claimed range for the S1 is rated at 121 kilometers , and for the Ola S1 Pro offers 181 kilometers, which is more than any electric two-wheeler available in India at present. This will give the Ola S1 Pro a real-world range of around 150 kilometers.
Ola Electric provides a portable 750 W charger with the S1 and S1 Pro, and the company says fully charging the S1 at home will take about four hours and 48 minutes, while a full charge for the S1 Pro at home will take six hours, 30 minutes. Yes as mentioned above, Ola is also setting up its ‘Hypercharger’ fast-charging station network across India in over 400 cities, where users will able to charge their vehicle in just 15 minutes it will provide 75 kilometres of range.
Ola Electric scooter top speed and performance details
The Ola Electric S1 Pro gets top-class acceleration with a base output of 5.5 kW (7.4 hp), peak output of 8.5 kW (11.5 hp) and 58 Nm of torque (at the motor), the Ola S1 Pro will accelerate from 0-40 kph in three seconds, and from 0-60 kph in five seconds flat. The Ola Electric S1 Pro gets three rider mode as Normal, Sport and hyper.
The lower-spec Ola S1, on the other hand, also has the same power output as the S1 Pro, but will do 0-40 kph in 3.6 seconds and 0-60 kph in seven seconds, which isn’t exactly slow either. Top speed for the Ola S1 is about to 90 kph, and it has two ride modes – Normal and Sport.
Ola Electric scooter features
The Ola Electric Series S e-scooter gets 36 litres of under-seat storage space – almost you can keep two half-face helmets in that space. In terms of features, the Ola S1 offers a side-stand cut-off function, 7-inch display powered by an octa-core chipset with 3GB RAM, cruise control, hill hold assist, geo-fencing, anti-theft alert, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS and Wi-Fi, four ‘moods’ (that change the way the scooter sounds), a reverse mode and onboard navigation. Both S1 and S1 Pro have most of these features, with the more affordable S1 missing out only on hill hold, cruise control and voice assistant features.

The scooter will be available in a total of ten color options.
