Maruti Suzuki is working on their CNG vehicles and increasing number of CNG vehicles. Maruti Suzuki is working on Vitara Brezza and soon you can see the vehicle with CNG powertrain. The Vitara Brezza could have CNG with its all variant including automatic. This is interesting thing how Maruti Suzuki will manage power in automatic variant. This CNG-fuel option upgrade would give the Brezza a major point against its rival.

The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG has no visual differences over its petrol-powered current version. However, there is an nozzle for filling CNG placed beside the nozzle for petrol inside the fuel tank lid on the side. This is is good thing. in some model Maruti Suzuki offer CNG nozzle at different side and some people don’t like it.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Variant

Maruti Suzuki will offer Brezza CNG in four variants – LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+, much like its petrol-powered variant. All these above variants will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox/transmission as standard.

CNG powertrains offer great mileage resulting in low running costs as we know and Brezza will get same. In big cities, there is no issue with the availability of CNG stations / CNG pump However, in small cities also getting supply of CNG now. Launching the Brezza CNG version before its rival could actually help Brezza establish a stronger share in market.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza CNG Engine

Maruti Brezza would continue to get the K15C 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine from the Ertiga CNG. The engine offer 88 bhp of maximum power and 121.5 Nm of maximum torque. However, the CNG variant could return a mileage of around 28kmpkg and it looks great. However, Maruti Suzuki could introduce Brezza with optional 6-speed automatic gearbox and this can be a game-changer. With this, the Brezza becomes the first vehicle in India to be offered with an optional automatic transmission with a factory-fitted CNG kit.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza CNG Pricing and Launch

The CNG variants are usually priced around Rs 1 lakh over their pure petrol variant. So, it can start around Rs 10.30 lakh for the LXi manual CNG variant. What about the launch? Maruti could launch the Brezza CNG in the coming weeks(2022).
