Toyota fans rejoice! The wait is over for an exciting new addition to the Innova Hycross lineup – the GX(O) variant. This feature-rich option slots above the GX variant, offering more comfort and technology.

New Variant, New Choices

The GX(O) caters to both 7-seater and 8-seater needs. The 8-seater variant starts at Rs 25.25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), while the 7-seater comes in slightly higher at Rs 25.41 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Enhanced Features for Everyday Convenience

The GX(O) lives up to its name by packing in extras like a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, automatic climate control, rear defogger, rear sunshade (except 7-seater), 10.1-inch infotainment system (except 7-seater), and LED fog lamps.

Understanding the Price Difference

Eagle-eyed readers might notice the slightly higher price for the 7-seater GX(O). This is because the 7-seater misses out on a few features compared to the 8-seater, including the 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and the retractable rear sunshade.

Engine and Performance Remain Unchanged

The GX(O) variant retains the same engine options as the Innova Hycross lineup. Choose between a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine churning out 172 bhp and 209 Nm, mated to a conventional CVT gearbox. The hybrid option uses the same engine tuned for 184 bhp and 188 Nm, paired with an e-CVT gearbox. Expect a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.13 kmpl for the petrol model and a stellar 23.24 kmpl for the hybrid variant.

The arrival of the GX(O) variant adds another layer of choice for Innova Hycross buyers. With its focus on additional features, the GX(O) could be a tempting option for those seeking a more feature-rich experience without going all-out on the higher trims.
