Tata Harrier

The Harrier is Tata’s premium 5 seat SUV. The Harrier is the first car from the Tata to be built on a Land Rover's platform and it is also unique. The car is Launched in 2019 with only in diesel-manual form and yet expected petrol version. 

Exterior and Design

The Harrier started trend of a pair of low-placed headlamps and DRLs placed on top position which gives sporty look to car. The profile has flared arches, a sloping roof, and a floating effect on the D-pillar which defines the character of the Harrier. At the rear, it gets sleek yet sharp LED tail lamps and a sculpted tailgate. The Harrier measures 4,598mm in length, is 1,714mm tall and 1,894mm wide and boasts 2,741mm of wheelbase.

Interior and Features

The Harrier gets 8.8-inch floating infotainment system on his dashboard which has a wood-finished around it. The most comfortable part of car is an eight-way adjustable driver seat with a four-way adjustable co-driver seat. Also car gets other feature like leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, electric ORVMs, cooled storage box, an electric sunroof, and many small but needed storage places all around. 

Engine and Specifications

The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine. It produces 168bhp power with 350Nm of torque. The Harrier gets six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission options with it.

Variants

The Tata Harrier SUV gets six variants - XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+.

Colours

There are five exterior shades to choose from – Calypso Red, Camo Green, Orcus White, Daytona Grey, and Oberon Black. A contrast black roof can also be opted with Orcus White and Calypso Red.

Rivals

The Tata Harrier rivals a full spectrum of SUVs from the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos to the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep Compass.
