The Isuzu V-Cross is gearing up to take on the popular Mahindra Thar in the growing lifestyle SUV segment in India. Here’s a quick look at what the new V-Cross facelift offers:
Subtle Design Tweaks
The new V-Cross retains its overall look but gets some refreshing tweaks. Expect new front and rear bumpers for a bolder appearance. New black claddings on the sides enhance the SUV’s muscular stance. The front grille gets a makeover with more blacked-out elements, while chrome accents remain on the side steps, ORVMs, door handles, and headlights.
Updated Interior with Black and Brown Theme
The teaser reveals a black and brown color theme for the seats. The equipment list is likely to carry over from the current model, including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 3D instrument cluster, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. New features remain to be seen.
Same Powerful Engine
The V-Cross facelift will likely retain the same 1.9-liter diesel engine churning out 161 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. Transmission options are expected to remain the same: 6-speed AT for 2WD and 6-speed AT & 6-speed MT for 4WD variants.
Launch and Price
Isuzu teased the V-Cross facelift on social media, hinting at a launch by early May 2024. The SUV will continue to rival the Toyota Hilux. Expect a price increase of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 80,000 depending on the variant. The current V-Cross price ranges from Rs. 23.69 lakh to Rs. 32.90 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
