Thinking about buying a Maruti Swift? You might want to wait a bit. Here’s why:
New Model Incoming!
Maruti recently hiked Swift prices by Rs 39,000. But that’s not the only reason to hold off. An all-new Swift is launching next month, May 2024! The new model promises significant upgrades inside and out.
Fresh Design with a Familiar Feel
The new Swift keeps the beloved silhouette but gets modern touches. Expect blacked-out headlights, a new grille and bumpers, and redesigned wheels. A new quarter glass panel opens up the cabin visually. Clear lens taillights and a new rear bumper complete the refresh.
Upgraded Interior with Latest Tech
The interior gets a complete makeover, similar to the Baleno and Fronx. Look for a light-colored, multi-layered dashboard (with a possible all-black option) and a new 9-inch touchscreen system. Maruti might offer features like a blind-spot monitoring system, ARKAMYS surround sound, and connected car tech. While features like electronic parking brake and ADAS are available globally, they likely won’t be offered in India.
New Engine under the Hood
The new Swift gets an all-new 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-series engine from Suzuki. Despite the cylinder reduction, Suzuki promises a refined driving experience. The engine produces 80 bhp and 108 Nm of torque, paired with manual and AMT gearbox options.
Wait for the New Swift!
With a price hike on the current model and a feature-packed new version coming soon, waiting for the new Maruti Swift is the smarter move. You’ll get a more modern car with the latest technology for potentially similar pricing.
