Bajaj Auto keeps rolling out new Pulsar updates, and the 2024 Pulsar 220 is the latest. Here’s a quick look at what’s new.
New Features for 2024
- Digital Instrument Cluster: Replacing the old semi-digital unit, a new fully digital instrument cluster brings a modern look to the Pulsar 220.
- USB Charging Socket: A convenient USB charging socket is now on the dashboard for easy phone charging.
- New Colors: Three new color options are available: Black & Grey, Black & Blue, and Black & Red.
Familiar Performance
Bajaj keeps the proven formula for the Pulsar 220 with no changes to the engine or components. The 220cc air-cooled engine making 20.11 bhp and 18.55 Nm remains, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Brakes, suspension, and other parts carry over unchanged.
Hero Xtreme 200S 4V: The Main Rival
The 2024 Pulsar 220 faces competition mainly from the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V in the Indian market.
Bajaj Pulsar 220: A Resurgence
The Pulsar 220 holds a special place in Indian motorcycle history. Its popularity and legacy led to its return after a period of absence. It fills the gap in the 200cc to 300cc segment that the Pulsar 250 twins (N250 and F250) couldn’t quite capture.
