Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd (GEMPL), the e-mobility arm of Greaves Cotton, has unveiled a new electric scooter that promises to redefine the segment. The Ampere Nexus isn’t just about high performance and affordability; it boasts of several first-in-class features, making it a compelling choice for eco-conscious riders in India.

Made in India, Engineered for Excellence

The Ampere Nexus proudly embodies the “Make in India” initiative. Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely within the country, it’s a testament to India’s growing prowess in electric vehicle technology. This commitment to domestic production extends beyond the assembly line. The Nexus has undergone rigorous testing across diverse terrains, ensuring optimal performance in real-world conditions. This dedication to quality is further underlined by the scooter’s impressive feat: holding four prestigious records, including an expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, showcasing its resilience and range.

Nexus EX and Nexus ST: Tailored for Different Needs

The Ampere Nexus replaces the Primus as the company’s flagship electric scooter, catering to families seeking a high-performance and comfortable ride. Available in two variants, the Nexus EX and Nexus ST, the scooter offers options to suit different budgets and preferences.

The base variant, Nexus EX, starts at an attractive introductory price of Rs 1,09,900 (ex-showroom). The feature-packed Nexus ST comes in at Rs 1,19,900 (ex-showroom) โ€“ a price that offers excellent value for the additional functionality. Both introductory prices will increase by Rs 10,000 after the initial launch period.
