Hyundai’s latest car, The Hyundai Creta, when it was launched back in 2015 became the most popular and selling car in the Compact SUV segment. This segment has become now one of the most popular segment in India. But with the launch of the Kia Seltos and the MG Hector, the Creta gets update. It was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020. The Hyundai Creta 2020 is based on the Hyundai ix25. It is expected that the Hyundai will continue to dominate the segment after the Hyundai Creta 2020 launch.
Creta color options
Hyundai Creta offers 10 Color Options (Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Lava Orange, Titan Grey, Deep Forest (Turbo Only), Galaxy Blue, Red Mulberry). It gets two dual-tone (Polar White with Phantom Black and Lava Orange with Phantom Black)options. On the inside, it will feature a two-tone Black & Greige Color Scheme and Plush Leatherette Upholstery.
Creta features
The company boasts of features in Creta such as Voice Enabled Smart Panoramic Sunroof, Trio Beam LED Headlamps. Creta also gets Advanced BlueLink, Electric Parking Brake, Bose Premium Sound System (8 Speakers). It also gets Drive & Traction Modes, Auto Healthy Air Purifier, 2 Step Rear Seat Reclining, Paddle Shifters and MT Remote Engine Start, Rear Seat Reclining. It also gets Rear Window Sunshade. Hyundai has included features such as Drive Mode Select (Eco, Comfort & Sport) and Traction Control Modes (Snow, Sand & Mud) on the 2020 Creta.
Creta Exterior
Hyundai Creta 2020 has a multitude of new features. Among these are some features which for the first time are being implemented in the compact SUV segment.
Hyundai Creta 2020 will come with a new design that will have a 3D cascading grille aided by large LED headlamps. The bumper of the Hyundai Creta 2020 also comes with a new design. Creta’s headlamps will have new split LED daytime running lamps which were looks like the Hyundai Palisade 2020. The SUV has a floating roof design and it got 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that looks good. Hyundai has designed new LED taillights for the Creta 2020 that matches the headlight design.
Creta Interior
The vehicle got a new dual-tone interior with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display which comes with Apple CarPlay, Andriod Auto and also BlueLink tech. The Hyundai Creta 2020 also has a new multi-functional flat-bottom steering wheel.
Creta Engine and transmission
Creta offers large range of engine option to buyers. It gets a total of five powertrains which are a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated MPI Petrol, a 1.5 litre U2 VGT Diesel, a 1.4 litre Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol. The 1.5 litre petrol is only available with a manual gearbox while the 1.5 litre diesel gets both-a six-speed manual as well as an automatic. The 1.0 litre turbo, on the other hand, gets only the seven speed DCT box.
