Bajaj is giving its Pulsar range a refresh in 2024, and the mighty Pulsar N250 is next in line. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
Tech Upgrade Focus
While the current Pulsar N250 is a capable performer, it lags in tech features compared to rivals. Riders increasingly demand seamless connectivity, and Bajaj seems to be addressing this. The new N250 is likely to get a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster similar to the updated Pulsar NS200. This will allow smartphone pairing via the Bajaj Ride Connect App for features like calls, texts, navigation, and more.
USD Forks for Enhanced Performance
Another significant addition expected is Upside-Down (USD) forks. This technology, already present in several competitors and even smaller Pulsar models (NS160 & NS200), enhances handling and provides a sharper feel. The inclusion of USD forks should elevate the overall performance and safety of the Pulsar N250.
Colourful Options and Graphic Enhancements
Currently, the Pulsar N250 is only available in black. The update might bring a wider colour palette with more vibrant and sporty options. New graphics are also a possibility, catering to riders who prefer a more personalized look.
No Change in Engine
The 2024 Pulsar N250 will likely retain its proven 249.07cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm of torque. The 5-speed gearbox and other core components are also expected to remain unchanged. This keeps the focus on reliability and potentially avoids a significant price increase.
Price Bump Expected
The addition of USD forks and a digital instrument cluster will likely push the price of the N250 slightly higher than the current starting price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ABS model).
Overall, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 update prioritizes tech integration and improved handling while maintaining affordability. New colour options and graphics will likely be offered to cater to a wider range of rider preferences.
