Performance and Range – Built for the Future

Built on Hyundai’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the Ioniq 5 boasts fast charging capabilities and an impressive driving range. With best-in-class interior space and handling, it’s no wonder the Ioniq 5 has been a hit since its launch in 2023, with 1,400 units sold in India alone. Interested buyers can book this electric SUV through Hyundai’s D2C portal with a down payment of just Rs 1 lakh.

Under the hood, the Ioniq 5 packs a 72.6 kWh battery, delivering an output of 214 hp and 250 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds and offers an ARAI certified range of 631 kms. Notably, the Ioniq 5 recently bagged the 2024 World Performance Car award, marking the lineup’s fourth major World Car Awards win in the last three years.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift – More Variants, More Features

Making its global debut in March 2024, the Ioniq 5 Facelift is now available in three variants – standard, the new N Line, and N. This updated version comes with a host of new features, including wireless charging pads, a relocated touch-sensitive panel for climate controls, and twin 12.3-inch digital screens. It also offers heated and ventilated seating, a heated steering wheel, parking assist, and a central console with cup holders.

Safety-wise, the 2024 Ioniq 5 is loaded with hands-on detection steering, lane-keeping assist 2, remote smart parking assist 2, and parking sensors for both forward/side and reverse parking. It also comes with a digital key, built-in camera, and remote folding seats in the second row.

While the exact range details for the 84 kWh battery are yet to be revealed, the 2024 Ioniq 5 is shaping up to be a formidable competitor in its segment, going head-to-head with the likes of the Kia EV6, Hyundai Kona Electric, BYD Atto 3, and BYD E6.
